Original Craft Crank PB (Plastic Blended) 153-2114 Recommended Firing Range 1170-1300C Indicative texture 9 (Smooth 1-Coarse 10). Produced by our Plastic Blending (PB) process which uses sliphoused base clays instead of more expensive, highly-processed powder materials. Similar fired results to the Original Craft Crank™ and more competitively priced. ‘Toasting’ occurs in the firing when the soluble salts in the body combine with the iron content at higher temperatures. This toasting is more pronounced in thicker section ware which has been dried slowly and fired to a higher temperature. Standard full bag size 12.5Kg
